[As promised, Caleb arrives shortly after the last message and knocks on Molly's door. Frumpkin is also out and is lying draped across Caleb's shoulders like some scarf- a token he used to get a good bottle of wine cheap (the barkeep loves cats). He does have glasses for wine too, and he's staring at them with a thought of 'this looks like an outright attempt at seducing' as he waits for Molly to answer the door.]
( It's not the first time that Mollymauk has been waylaid by a particularly rambunctious night of debauchery. Although he still is getting used to the idea of traveling with a group that has anyone willing to keep an eye on him and help him through the morning afters. And yet in spite of how godawful he probably should be both looking and feeling, he answers the door with a cheerful demeanor, draped tastefully in his bedsheets rather than bothering to put any amount of clothes. Probably not helping with the whole appearances of seduction that Caleb is thinking about. )
Ah, you've made it, and not a moment too soon. ( His voice comes out as a purr as he leads Caleb and Frumpkin further into the modest room where he has been staying. )
[No, it is not, and Caleb suspects it won't be the last time either. He just blinks at the "outfit" Molly has chosen for himself to greet him in and he has to appreciate the things he sees- very quietly, of course. He needs to ask him one day how he got those tattoos, they are incredible.]
I've always been known to be punctual. [With a short nod, he follows inside, closing the door behind him. Frumpkin jumps off of his shoulder and finds a very, very pretty coat to make biscuits out of and settle down for a nap.]
( If there's one thing Molly enjoys, it is getting some kind of reaction from Caleb, who can be awfully stoic, especially when contrasted with Molly's brand of flamboyancy. While it might not have been a very pronounced one, he takes it as a win that Caleb does not turn and change his mind.
Careful to keep the sheets draped around him like a chiton, he leads Caleb further inside and finds his way back to the modest-sized bed that's about the only piece of furniture in this room. It's not much, but what need do they have for extravagance while they're out adventuring, anyway? ) That you most certainly have. Now, let's see whether this wine is as acceptable as you claim it is.
[Aside from Nott, and Jester from time to time, Mollymauk is the one that consistently did get a reaction from him that wasn't just passively staring at the situation presented. But how can you not notice Mollymauk? His appearance alone demands attention, and then he opens his mouth with the most ridiculous things- and the rest is history.
They certainly didn't need more, and it looks like luxury compared to some beds they've rented in the past, at least it's not all straw and one sheet over it for a mattress.]
Once we get a chance, I shall acquire us a proper, aged wine. There's nothing that can compare to it. [He takes a seat next to him, and offers one of the glasses, then pours them both drinks.]
( Now that piques Molly's interest, and he sits right up, propping his head up on his elbow. His grin is all fangs, but all in all, he's completely harmless, looking far more intimidating between the scars and tattoos than he actually is. )
Now that, I would like. You think we'll be able to pull that off, finding one? ( It's exciting now, thinking about a future with these people. He had spent so much time with the circus, and going from passing fancy to passing fancy in search of a purpose, that now that he's starting to feel comfortable he realizes he has no plans on abandoning the Nein anytime soon. Which naturally means sooner or later, it's got to go to shit, so he plans only on enjoying this while it lasts.
He takes one of the glasses from Caleb and takes a quick sniff, swirling the wine around in the glass. ) Alright, doesn't seem half bad so far.
[It certainly keeps Caleb's interest, and he has to school himself and not let his eyes wander. The cheeky grin is something he's used to now and is very welcoming.]
Well, I managed to find a spellbook in a rundown, moldy, second-hand bookshop. I'm sure I can find a bottle of decent wine on the road. [They visit a lot of places so it shouldn't be TOO hard. They were stuck in this inn for the night so he didn't get to wander around and look specifically for it, but starting tomorrow he will.]
I had the same thought, [he also gives the wine a sniff,] ...it's the reason I chose the bottle. Cheers?
Ah yes, you are a man of many talents. ( Molly takes his time tasting it, making a noise of satisfaction. ) This will do in a pinch. It's not terrible, at least, though there is room for improvement.
( Ultimately, Molly isn't that picky, but there's no reason Caleb needs to know that. Especially if it means the promise of more visits like this, and more bottles of wine to be shared. ) Maybe I can help. ( And with a sly, smile, he gestures to his jacket, which is hanging over a chair in the corner. ) Maybe the cards can help.

Well, if they don't, we could always stage a protest, a boycott. I'm sure that'd go over really well.
